Changing It Up

So its not that much of a difference but its a change.  My blog is still a work in progress and probably will always be that way.  That is, unless I can find something that I am just crazy about and decide to stick with it for a good while.

I've found myself changing a lot of things up at home, with my kids, with myself and with Jeff.  We are on our way to new life and I am bound and determined to make the best of it.  I'm discovering new things about myself that I never really knew but also rediscovering things that had been buried.  Nothing really big, just little things that I have missed doing and reintroducing them into my life.  I'm not going to lie and say that I never feel overwhelmed or that I can't take on anymore but I am enjoying figuring it all out and making decisions on my own now.

My kids are my inspiration to making it all work.  I take one look at them and know it will all be fine.  They melt all my worries away with their sweet smiles, warm hugs and sticky kisses...well at least in that moment, those worries are gone.  And I wouldn't trade that for anything

Busy

I know, I know I haven't been blogging in a while.  We have been very busy at our house.  Christopher is playing baseball this year so with practices, games and school, our week is full.  He has also had a couple of projects due at school so in between baseball stuff, we have been working on getting those done.  We turned in his last one today so hopefully (fingers crossed) that will be it for projects for a while.  Baseball has been fun for him (and me) this year.  Our good friend Brian Hillier picked him up this year.  Brian is an awesome coach and he works really well with the kids.  Our families have known each other for a very long time so he is more like family to us.  I was so excited when he chose Chris for his team this year.  I know he is learning and having a good time.  He laid down a beautiful bunt at his game Saturday, advancing the runner all the way to third.  He was very proud of himself...a little disappointed he wasn't safe at first but he did his job.  I snapped this picture of Miss Bella giving her brother good luck kisses during the game...

Isn't this the sweetest picture ever!  I think I will have to have this one blown up and framed for sure.

Miss Bella is moving and grooving.  She turned 15 months Friday and is so much fun for us. Christopher and I love watching her learn and try new things every day.  She loves to play outside with us and gets very upset when its time to go inside.  If we have something to help distract her, the transition isn't all that bad.  And who could blame her for wanting to stay outside, its been so pretty and nice here lately.

I will try to blog more and let you know what's going on in our world.  Not making any promises, but I will try...for you.  My fans.  :)
